The Government of Andhra Pradesh was represented at the AutoExpo2020 (6-9 Feb 2020) in New Delhi and Greater Noida by a delegation led by Shri. Mekapati Goutham Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Industries. The delegation included Shri. Subramanyam Javvadi, Director, Industries & CEO, APEDB along with Advisors to the Govt. of AP, and team APEDB.
The 15th Edition of Auto Expo — Asia’s largest Automotive show - jointly organized by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is conducted with the theme of innovation and new technologies for creating the base for sustainable mobility in India. The Expo hosted two focused shows – the Auto Show and the Auto Components Show.
The AP delegation met the representatives of a number of major auto players, including Renault, Great Wall Motors, Mahindra, Force Motors, JBM Group, KIA Motors, among others to discuss the investment opportunities in the State. The Hon’ble Industries Minister also participated in the CII session on Modern Automotive Technologies for Future Mobility in India and spoke about Andhra Pradesh’s strengths and opportunities in the sector. An AP State Pavilion was also set up at the Expo to interact with potential investors.
