Mr. Krishna Kishore, an IRS officer of the 1990 batch is the Chief Executive Officer of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB). The 51-year-old officer is a chartered accountant by training and has had stints with the income-tax department in Guntur and Vijayawada. Till recently Secretary to the Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, he was handpicked by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to head the APEDB.
Under his stewardship, APEDB has registered remarkable achievements by contributing towards Andhra Pradesh’s successes – including signing more than 65 MoUs amounting to approximately INR 3.6 lakh crore of investments into the state.
APEDB has also forged partnerships with 12 countries, inking international agreements through 24 outbound delegations and 20 inbound delegations. Given this background, APEDB has become an integral part of Andhra Pradesh’s journey towards creating a happy, inclusive, and sustainable society.
